About the race
Hope in Every Step in Saint George is a community trail event on November 7, 2026 at Crosby Confluence Park that raises awareness and funds for stomach cancer. The event offers separate options for timed and untimed participation and includes programs for adults and children. Proceeds support Hope for Stomach Cancer (StoCAN), an organization that provides education, patient resources, research partnerships and advocacy for people affected by stomach cancer.
The event program includes:
- 5K Trail Run/Walk timed event.
- 1K Hope Walk not timed.
- Kids Fun Run 1K not timed.
Each distance has its own registration window and fee. The 5K has a registration fee of $35 and its registration opens on August 6 and closes on October 1. The 1K Hope Walk has a fee of $15, and the Kids Fun Run has a fee of $10; both open registration on September 10 and close on October 1. The trail format is emphasized so participants will be on outdoor paths. The event also includes team participation options, sponsorship and volunteer roles to support the event and the cause.
