Freo Ocean Classic Run Swim Run (FOC'RS) : Leighton Beach, Fremantle
The Freo Ocean Classic Run Swim Run is an aquathlon and multisport event at Leighton Beach in North Fremantle on 14th November 2026. Events are offered as solo or team entries and include run only, swim only, and combined run-swim-run formats.
Aquathlon course options use a mix of path running, ocean swims, and beach running:
- Full: 6 km path run, 2 km swim, 2 km beach run.
- Half: 3 km path run, 1 km swim, 1 km beach run.
- Short (ages 8–13): 3 km path run, 500 m swim, 1 km beach run.
Separate run and swim events are also available:
- Path run: 6 km or 3 km.
- Beach run: 2 km or 1 km.
- Swim: 2 km, 1 km, or 500 m (age-based distances apply).
Age rules and minimums
- Aquathlon Full and Half: 12 and older.
- Aquathlon Short: ages 8 to 13.
- Path run and beach run entries: ages 8 and older.
- Swim events have age bands, for example 2 km is for ages 12 to 16 only.
