Revo Fitness Fremantle Running Festival
The Revo Fitness Fremantle Running Festival is a community running event organised by the West Australian Marathon Club at The Esplanade Reserve, Fremantle, WA. A portion of event proceeds is donated to Operation Sunshine WA, a volunteer-run Perth charity that provides care packs for people affected by violence, abuse or crisis.
The event offers multiple distances:
- 21.1 km (solo and relay)
- 10 km (solo)
- 5 km (solo)
- 300 m (solo)
All half marathon finishers receive a finisher's medal. The half marathon relay consists of three legs of 10.1 km, 5.5 km and 5.5 km, with changeovers on Marine Terrace; relay teams must make their own way to and from changeover points. There is an overall gun-time cut off of three hours and an interim cutoff for the start of the final lap; runners who do not meet the interim cutoff will not be permitted to continue.
Bib collection is scheduled before race day, including a session at the WAMC club rooms on Tuesday 3 November and a collection in Fremantle on Saturday 7 November; there is no general bib collection on the morning of the event. Prize categories include monetary prizes for the 21.1 km top finishers and placings for 10 km, 5 km and relay categories. Pace groups are provided at a range of target times.
