Freedom Run 5k/10k & Fun Run : Alpharetta, GA
The event is scheduled for July 4, 2026 at Halcyon, 6365 Halcyon Way, Alpharetta, GA 30005. It offers in-person and virtual options across multiple distances, with family-friendly and walker-friendly accommodations.
Distances offered:
- 5k (3 Miles) in-person and virtual
- 10k (6 Miles) in-person and virtual
- 1K Fun Run in-person and virtual
Full-price race registrations include a T-shirt, chipped race timing, and a custom medal. Virtual entries include shipping; virtual packets will be mailed after July 6 if not picked up during packet pickup. Packet pickup is available at Big Peach Running Co in Cumming on July 2 and July 3, and on race morning at the race location under the event tent.
One hundred percent of donations will go to Ainsley’s Angels of America in North Georgia to support equipment and participation for Special Needs athletes. Water stations are provided: the 10k water station is at the turnaround and the 5k water station is located along the course. Restrooms are located inside The Market Hall adjacent to the coffee shop. Free parking is available in the Halcyon parking garage and the starting line is at the surface parking lot behind Cherry Street Brewpub.
Awards are given for overall male and female, overall masters male and female, and 1st–3rd place age group awards in five-year increments. Virtual runners are not eligible for overall or age group awards. The race will be held rain or shine, and officials may cancel, delay, or change the event if conditions are not safe.
