Freedom Run - Alpharetta (July 4, 2026)
The event takes place at Halcyon in Alpharetta, GA on July 4, 2026. It offers in-person and virtual running options and is described as family-friendly and walker-friendly. The event benefits Ainsley’s Angels of America in North Georgia; one hundred percent of donations made through the event website go to that local branch to support equipment and supplies so families can participate at no cost.

Included with full price race registration are a choice of a T-shirt or tank for an additional charge, chipped race timing, and a custom medal. Virtual entries include shipping; virtual packets will be mailed after July 6 if not picked up during packet pickup. Uncollected in-person packets will be donated.
Packet pickup is at Big Peach Running Co in Cumming on Wednesday, July 2 and Thursday, July 3 from 12 PM to 5 PM. Race morning pickup is available at the race location under the green Big Peach tent. Registration is available online through race morning if not sold out; on-site registration requires an account login.
Course and venue details note free parking in the Halcyon parking garage adjacent to the Village Green behind CMX CineBistro, the starting line at the surface parking lot behind Cherry Street Brewpub, restrooms inside The Market Hall adjacent to the coffee shop, and water stations on the courses. Awards are given to overall and masters male and female, plus 1st through 3rd in five-year age groups; virtual runners are not eligible for overall or age group awards. The event is scheduled to be held rain or shine, and race officials may cancel, delay, or change the event if conditions are not safe.
