Course and logistics
The course is described as flat, leaving from the north park and passing around town and through neighborhoods before returning to the park. A water station will be available at the 1.5 mile mark. Awards are given to first overall male and female finishers and to top finishers in each age category. Age categories for male and female are 14 and under, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, and 70+. Packet pickup is at the North Park pavilion on race day only. Proceeds are donated to West Michigan Veterans Assistance, and there is an on-site shoe donation opportunity managed by Sneaker Impact.
