Freedom Run 5K - Dorr
Freedom Run 5K - Dorr is an evening 5K event held at Dorr Township North Park in Dorr, MI. The event offers both a run and a walk on a flat route that leaves from the park, passes around town, weaves through neighborhoods, and returns to the park. Glow accessories will be provided and participants are encouraged to wear bright clothing.
Distances:
- Run 5K: 3.1 miles
- Walk 5K: 3.1 miles
A water station will be available at the 1.5 mile mark. Finishers receive a medal, and awards are given to first place overall male and female as well as top finishers in each category. Age categories for each male and female are 14 and under, 15 to 19, 20 to 29, 30 to 39, 40 to 49, 50 to 59, 60 to 69, and 70 and over.
Registration opens 10/26/2025 and closes 5/26/2026; the registration fee is $35.00. Packet pickup is available on race day at the North Park pavilion. Proceeds from the event are donated to West Michigan Veterans Assistance. A shoe donation program with Sneaker Impact will accept used shoes for revival, renewal, or recycling.
