Freedom Run 5K Dorr
The Freedom Run 5K Dorr is scheduled for Friday, July 3, 2026, at Dorr Township Park - North in Dorr, Michigan. The event offers two 5K options and takes place after dusk as a glow run. Glow accessories are provided and participants are encouraged to wear white or neon clothing.

The course is described as flat and leaves from Dorr Township Park - North, passes around town, weaves through neighborhoods, and returns to the park. A water station is located at the 1.5 mile mark. Finishers receive a medal, and awards are given to first place overall male and female plus top finishers in each age category.
Proceeds from the event are donated to the West Michigan Veterans Assistance. Packet pickup is available at the North Park pavilion on race day. The event also invites donations of used shoes for Sneaker Impact, which will revive, renew, or recycle pairs for community use.
Age categories for male and female participants are 14 and under, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, and 70 plus. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
