Freedom Racing - 5 Trails Ultra & 3 Trails
The event takes place on Saturday 8 November 2025 at Westerlands, Graffham, Petworth (GU28 0QJ). It is organised by Serpent Trail and staged on trails in the South Downs. Minimum age for entry is 16 years.
- 50 km Ultra on five long distance trails
- Half marathon on three long distance trails
Course and practical information
The 50 km Ultra is a single loop that links sections of five long distance trails: Serpent Trail, New Lipchis Way, West Sussex Literary Trail, Monarchs Way and South Downs Way. The Half Marathon follows sections of the Serpent Trail, New Lipchis Way and South Downs Way, with additional trails near the foot of the Downs in Graffham. The Ultra has four stocked checkpoints; the Half Marathon has one stocked checkpoint. SportIdent electronic timing will be used.
The venue at Westerlands offers downland views and parking. Finishers receive a wooden eco-medal. Entries open 7 March 2025 and close 6 November 2025. Entry fees listed are £70.00 for the Ultra and £35.00 for the Half. To enter, competitors must have a SiEntries account (log in or register).
