Freedom Racing - 5 Trails Ultra & 3 Trails
This trail running event takes place at Westerlands in Graffham near Petworth, on the South Downs. It offers two route choices that use existing long-distance trails and a looped course for the ultra.

- Half Marathon on three long-distance trails
The 50 km Ultra links sections of the Serpent Trail, New Lipchis Way, West Sussex Literary Trail, Monarch's Way and the South Downs Way into a single loop. The Half Marathon follows parts of the Serpent Trail, New Lipchis Way and the South Downs Way, with additional trails at the foot of the Downs in Graffham.
Event features include four well stocked checkpoints on the Ultra and one checkpoint on the Half, SportIdent electronic race timing, and a wooden eco-medal reflecting the trail location. The venue at Westerlands provides downland views and plentiful parking. Entries open on 30 November 2026 and close on 11 November 2027. Minimum age to enter is 18. Entry fees listed are £75.00 for the 5 Trails Ultra and £38.00 for the 3 Trails Half. The event is organized by Freedom Racing. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
