Freedom Fun Run - Roseville
The Placer Freedom Foundation presents the Freedom Fun Run on November 7, 2026 at Vernon Street Town Square in downtown Roseville, California. This in-person community event offers multiple distances to accommodate different preferences.
Distances include:
- 10K
- 5K
- 1 Mile
Entry options include separate categories and pricing for the general public and military participants. The 5K and 10K general entry fee is $45, with a military rate of $35 for those categories. The 1-mile untimed event has a $20 registration fee. Registration windows vary by event.
A Patriotic Costume Contest runs alongside the races with four judging categories: Uncle Sam Award for most patriotic individual costume, Firecracker Award for the brightest and most energetic outfit, Dynamic Unit for best group or duo theme, and Lil' Sparkler for best kids' individual costume.
The event includes a Run for a Hero feature that allows registrants to dedicate their race to a veteran or active-duty military member by providing a name and branch of service during registration; participants receive a tribute sticker to wear on race day.
The Placer Freedom Foundation focuses on supporting nonprofit programs that serve veterans, active-duty military members, first responders, and their families through fundraising and community events. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
