The Placer Freedom Foundation hosts the 2026 Freedom Fun Run at Vernon Street Town Square in downtown Roseville on 11/07/2026. The event is an in-person community gathering that offers multiple course options.

The event includes a Patriotic Costume Contest with four judging categories: Uncle Sam Award for the most patriotic individual costume, Firecracker Award for the brightest and most energetic outfit, Dynamic Unit for the best group or duo theme, and Lil' Sparkler for the best kids costume. There is special pricing for veterans and for families.
The Run for a Hero program lets participants dedicate their race to a veteran or active duty service member. Registrants may provide a name and branch of service and will receive a tribute sticker to wear on race day.
