Freedom Fun Run (5K & 10K) + 1 Mile Kids Run

The event takes place on Saturday, July 4, 2026, in Alexandria, Minnesota. Races begin and end at Brophy Park and use the Brophy Pavilion for registration and check in. The venue address is 2175 Brophy Landing NW, Alexandria, MN 56308.

The courses pass Lake Darling, Cowdry Lake and Brophy Lake and use sections of the Brophy Bike Trails, which include rolling hills. Indoor restrooms are available at the Brophy Pavilion. Locker rooms and showers are not available on site; the local YMCA is nearby.

Packet pick up is offered on Friday, July 3 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Saturday, July 4 from 6:00 AM to 7:30 AM. Course maps are provided for the 5K and 10K. The event is hosted by Alexandria Community Christian School and proceeds support its K-12 Christian education program. Registration fees increase after June 10.
