GRHS 5K Scrub Run - 12th Annual
The event is a community 5 km fun run and walk held at Lake Minnewaska in Glenwood, Minnesota. It is organized by Glacial Ridge Health System and takes place on June 13, 2026. The course is open to families; dogs and strollers are welcome. The run is timed but not officially certified.
Proceeds and optional donations collected at registration benefit Glacial Ridge Hospice programs. Additional donation options include Funds For Heroes designations for Pope County first responders. There is an overall registration cap listed for the event.
Awards include a medal for the first place finishers in the male and female categories. A variety of door prizes will be given away; winners must be present to receive prizes. Pre-registered participants who register by June 1 are guaranteed a choice of a soft District Made t-shirt or a ladies' rocker-style tank top. Organizers note that shirts may be substituted for a different color, style, or brand depending on supply chain availability.
