Glenwood Waterama Road Races
The Glenwood Waterama Road Races take place on July 25, 2026, during the annual Waterama community festival in Glenwood, Minnesota. The event meets at Glenwood City Park at the lakeside; participants are transported by bus to the race starting locations.
The event program includes these distances:
- Rotary 10K
- Rotary 5K Run/Walk
- Glenwood State Bank Magic Mile (1 mile)
The 5K and 10K races are chip timed. The Magic Mile is timed with a basic stopwatch system. Medals are awarded to the top three finishers in multiple age categories. Light refreshments will be provided for participants.
Registration opens June 1, 2026 and closes July 17, 2026. Published entry fees list the 5K and 10K at $35 and the Magic Mile at $15; later and on-site registration fees may be higher. Packet pickup is scheduled on the Friday evening before the race at the Pope County Museum parking lot and on the morning of the race at Glenwood City Park. On-site registration is available at the same locations the day before and the morning of the event.
