Fredonia Trick or Trot 5k
The Fredonia Trick or Trot 5k is a Halloween-themed running event held in Fredonia, New York, at 280 Central Avenue. The event features a main 5K for ages 13 and up and a Youth 5K Run/Walk for children, with a stated requirement that children participate with a registered parent or guardian.
Proceeds benefit Business Students for Success at SUNY Fredonia and support the club's annual trip fundraising. Registration pricing is tiered: $30 early-bird pricing until October 1, $35 from October 1 to October 15, and a $10 flat fee for children 12 and under. Packet pickup is organized at the SUNY Fredonia Williams Center on the days immediately before and the day of the event.
Registered participants receive a finisher medal, and the first 100 registered participants are eligible to receive a race t-shirt. Free candy will be available along the course. The event includes a costume contest with a prize for the winner and is planned to proceed rain or shine.
Organizers reserve the right to change the date, time, location, switch the event to a virtual format, or cancel the event if necessary. The stated policy notes that refunds, transfers, or deferrals will not be allowed unless otherwise specified. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
