The 1891 Run for the Fredonia Opera House takes place on Sunday, April 26, 2026. The event supports the 1891 Fredonia Opera House Performing Arts Center. It is a 5K run/walk.

Course Information
The race starts and finishes at the Fredonia Village Hall and Opera House. The USATF-certified course begins on Day Street and ends on Church Street. It includes Temple Street, Central Avenue, Brigham Road, and a portion of Ring Road on the SUNY Fredonia campus. The course has a short, small incline at the start but is otherwise flat.
Registration and Fees
Pre-registration is $25 for adults and $15 for students. Day-of-race registration is $30 for adults and $15 for students. Pre-race packet pickup is available on Saturday, April 25. Swag bags are provided to all participants. T-shirts are guaranteed for those who register by April 14. All registrants' names are entered into a random prize drawing.
Awards
Awards medals are given to the first, second, and third-place male and female finishers overall. Medals are also awarded to the top three male and female finishers in multiple age groups, from 17 & under to 80 & over. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
