Frederick Women's Distance Festival
The Frederick Women's Distance Festival is scheduled for 2026 at the Frederick Community College Student Center in Frederick, Maryland. The event marks the 37th edition of the festival and features both in-person and virtual running options.

- 5K
- 1K
The program includes multiple events: an in-person 5K Run/Walk, an Athletes Serving Athletes 5K reserved for participants affiliated with that organization, a Little Women 1K Fun Run for girls age 13 and under that includes a t-shirt and medal with registration, and a virtual 5K Run/Walk option. Registration fees listed for 2026 are $30.00 for the 5K events and $15.00 for the Little Women 1K. Net proceeds will be donated to The Women's Giving Circle of Frederick County.
The 5K Run/Walk offers an optional team competition with categories and minimum team sizes: Family teams require two members and Friends teams require four members. The Frederick Steeplechasers Running Club offers a nine week summer training program for women in preparation for the 5K; the training is held in person and requires separate registration.
