15th Annual Egg Nog Jog
The Egg Nog Jog is scheduled for December 19, 2026, as an in-person event held on the campus of Linganore High School in Frederick, Maryland (12013 Old Annapolis Road, 21701). The event continues an annual tradition connected to a winter toy drive that began after a local community member died of leukemia in 2004. The toy drive provides toys and games to children in the Johns Hopkins pediatric oncology unit.
Registration opens November 6, 2026 and closes December 17, 2026. The registration fee for the event is $26. All proceeds will be used to supplement donations to the pediatric center and to make a donation to the local chapter of the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. Any additional donations made with registration will be used to purchase toys for the Pediatric Oncology Unit at Johns Hopkins.
The event was created by the SGA to support the existing toy drive. Race participants will receive an Egg Nog Jog race shirt and a custom race bib. The 2026 edition is presented as a campus-based, single-day gathering that continues the charity and community focus established by the original toy drive and the organizing group.
