Event overview
The Freakin Freezin 5K - Atlanta takes place on Sunday, January 4, 2026, in Atlanta, GA at The Monroe (300 Colonial Homes Dr NW, 30309). The event includes these race options:

Entry fees vary by registration period. Participants registered by December 25 are guaranteed race swag in their size. All finishers receive a finisher medal. Awards are given to top overall finishers and age-group places, including top 3 overall M/F, masters, grand masters, senior grand masters, and top 3 in five-year age groups from 10 & under through 75+.
Volunteers who recruit three other volunteers and meet participation requirements may receive a $50 Visa gift card.
Course, services and policies
The course starts and finishes at The Monroe, loops around the apartment complex, follows the Atlanta BeltLine around the Bobby Jones Golf Course, and returns to The Monroe. The route is mostly on the BeltLine and includes stairs; water stations are placed at approximately every 1.5 miles. RaceJoy is available for live GPS tracking, progress alerts, and remote cheers; participants must carry and activate their phone to use it.
The event is held rain or shine. All registrations are final; there are no refunds, deferments, or transfers. In extreme weather the event may be canceled with no refunds. If COVID-19 causes restrictions, the event will move to 100% virtual and shirts will be shipped. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
