Franksgiving Day 5K
Franksgiving Day 5K is a race day held in Canton, Ohio on November 14, 2026 at 132 5th St NW. The event program includes organized running and fun events for different ages: Adult and Youth 5K races, a children’s fun run called the Red Hot Tot Trot, and Wiener Dog Races.
Registration details and fees vary by event. The Adult 5K opens registration on 12/1/2025 and closes 7/26/2026; the fee is $35 and the event is for those 18 years old and over. The Youth 5K opens registration on 12/1/2025 and closes 7/26/2026; the fee is $25 and the event is for those 17 years old and under. The Red Hot Tot Trot is a one-loop, 0.3 mile fun run for children under 12; registration opened 3/10/2026 and closes on the day of the event; it is free. Wiener Dog Race registration opens 9/9/2026 and closes 11/9/2026; this is a recreational event held at Centennial Plaza after the awards ceremony and is free. Wiener dog participants receive a mini race bib and a small dog gift.
Finishers receive food and drink (hot dogs, chips, and beer/pop/water) at no charge and a finisher medal. Individual 5K awards cover the top 5 men and top 5 women, plus top 3 in multiple age groups. Team awards go to the team (Mustard, Ketchup, Onion) with the lowest average time; every finisher counts. The 2026 program adds the Mount Beanie Weenie Sprint and the Red Hot Tot Trot.
