The Mother Fricker - Pittsburgh, PA

The Mother Fricker is a community running event held at the Lower Frick Park Play Area (the soccer field) in Pittsburgh. The event emphasizes camaraderie and running without timing, fees, or medals. There are four separate loops that start and end at the event location; completing all four equals 20 miles.

There is a parking lot at the Lower Frick Park Play Area. Additional parking locations and their approximate distances to the event location include End of Braddock Trail (0.6 mile), Biddle Parking Lot (0.7 mile), and Frick Park Environmental Center (1 mile).

There is no registration fee to run any distance. Participants are asked to bring at least one pair of retired running shoes; collected shoes benefit the charities of PICKUP PLEASE. Participants may also bring canned goods to donate to The Greater Pittsburgh Community Food Bank. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
