Fowl Fun Run : 48th Annual, Mount Vernon WA
The 48th Annual Fowl Fun Run is scheduled for November 14, 2026 at Mount Vernon Christian School in Mount Vernon, Washington. The event is organized with multiple race options on flat, low-traffic farm roads through the Skagit Valley.

- 5K run/walk
- 10K run
There is a free half mile kids run for children eight years and under; children must be registered in person on the morning of the event.
Registration opens December 22, 2025 and closes November 13, 2026. Listed advance fees are $30 for the 5K and $40 for the 10K. Day of registration is available at higher prices of $40 for the 5K and $50 for the 10K. Packet pick up is available the day before the race at Skagit Running Company, 724 S 1st St, Mount Vernon, WA 98273.
Post race food includes traditional pumpkin pie. Special awards are planned for the top three male and top three female finishers. Finisher medals are referenced for participants though they may not be guaranteed for day of registrants.
A turkey character starts the 10K shortly after the main start; runners who finish the 10K ahead of the turkey receive a special award at the finish. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
