The Fort Yargo Ultra takes place on April 4, 2026, at Fort Yargo State Park, Lake Pavilion, 210 S Broad St, Winder, GA 30680. Distances offered:
- 50K
- 25K
The course uses a 15.6-mile loop on 100% trail single-track. The 50K covers two loops of the 15.6-mile loop; the 25K is one loop. A canine run is offered; canine entrants register for the 25K and start after the regular 25K field.
Course and logistics
Aid stations are placed along the course and are fully stocked with water, Gatorade, cola, snacks, cookies, candy, sandwiches, and fruit. 50K runners may use drop bags placed at aid stations. Crew is not required; family and support are welcome, and parking is included in the race fee. Maps are available at check-in.
Race services include a marked course, timing, dry-fit shirt, finisher medal, free race photos, aid station supplies, awards, and a post-race meal. All finishers receive a medal and a t-shirt. Awards are given to top finishers by overall, masters (40-59), and grand masters (60+) categories; first overall in the 50K receives a free entry to the next year’s event.
Registration fees listed for 2026 are $150 for the 50K and $130 for the 25K. No refunds; entries may be transferred to another racer in the same event within the organizer’s stated deadline. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
