The Fort Yargo Ultra is set for April 4, 2026 at Fort Yargo State Park in Winder, Georgia (210 S Broad St). Distances offered:
- 50K
- 25K
The 50K is two laps of a 15.6-mile loop. The 25K is one lap on the same trails. The course is 100% on trails and features single-track sections and rolling hills around the lake.
Logistics and services
Aid stations are fully stocked with water, Gatorade, cola, snacks, cookies, candy, sandwiches, and fruit. Drop bags are provided at check-in for placement at aid stations. Parking is included in the race fee. Registered racers receive a dry-fit shirt, finisher medal, free race photos, timing, aid station supplies, awards, and a post-race meal from Moe’s Southwest Grill.
There is a canine run option; canine runners register for the 25K and start shortly after the regular 25K field. The event enforces course rules such as no cutting, punching all flags for credit, no littering, and aid access limits near specified aid stations. Trekking poles are allowed.
