Fort Steilacoom Resolution Series

The Fort Steilacoom Resolution Series runs from January 10 to March 7, 2026 in Lakewood, WA at Fort Steilacoom Park (9107 Angle Ln SW, 98498). The series comprises multiple race days across winter months with individual events and bundled series options. Pre-registration is available through the Wednesday before each race and day-of registration is offered starting one hour before the event. Dogs are not allowed on the course; strollers are permitted.

Registration and fees

Individual event pre-registration fees are listed as: 5K $30; all other distances $35. Age group discount for participants 19 and under: 5K $10; all other distances $15. Day-of registration fees are higher: 5K $38; all other distances $43, with reduced youth rates. Series bundle options are offered: 5K series (three 5Ks) $75, 10K series (three 10Ks) $90, and a Progression Series (10K-15K-20K) $90. A $10 discount is available when bundling three individual events. Event insurance is available through a third-party at checkout.

Course, facilities and awards

All events use a flat 5K loop within the park that is about 95% paved and 5% packed trail. Longer distances repeat the loop. An aid station with water, electrolytes and restrooms is available at the end of each loop. Plenty of on-site parking and packet pickup signage are provided. Events are chip-timed and results are published. Photos are taken and expected to be posted after the event. Participants who complete two or more events receive a custom finishers medal.
