Fool's Run 5K 2026
The Fool's Run 5K is an annual evening running event held in downtown Gig Harbor, Washington. The race takes place through the scenic streets of the harbor district at twilight. The event features a whimsical theme inspired by April Fools' Day and encourages participants to wear fun outfits. This event is open to runners and walkers, including those with strollers.

Registration for the event includes a commemorative medal, a T-shirt, and a swag bag. T-shirt sizes are guaranteed for those who register by March 15. The check-in process takes place at the Gig Harbor Chamber of Commerce on Judson Street.
The event includes a pre- and post-race gathering known as the Celebration Station at Hop Pharm. This area features live DJ music, a hydration station, a snack shack, and a 360 photobooth. Various vendor and sponsor booths are present, alongside food trucks such as La Plancha and Dick's Drive Thru Burgers. Participants aged 21 and over have the option to purchase celebratory drinks at the venue.
Designated parking is provided at the Gig Harbor Methodist Church on Pioneer Way. Participants are asked to use marked stalls and avoid parking on the grass. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
