Event overview

The Fort Steilacoom Resolution Series is a winter race series in Lakewood, Washington, running from January 10 to March 7, 2026. Events take place at Fort Steilacoom Park, 9107 Angle Ln SW, Lakewood, WA 98498. All events are chip-timed by Peak Performance Timing and results are published online and available at a results kiosk.

Course and facilities

All races use a flat 5K loop inside Fort Steilacoom Park. The loop is about 95% paved and 5% packed trail. Participants of longer distances repeat the 5K loop. Each mile is marked and an aid station with water, electrolytes and restrooms is available at the end of each loop. Plenty of on-site parking and packet pickup signage are provided.

Registration, fees and policies

Pre-registration is available through the Wednesday before each event. Individual entry fees are listed by distance; day-of registration is available at higher fees. Age-group discounts apply for participants 19 and under. Participants may bundle events or create a custom three-event series at a discounted rate. Event insurance is available through a third-party option. Registrants may change events at packet pickup.

Awards, photos and other notes

Participants who complete two or more events receive a custom finisher medal. Age-group ribbons are awarded to the top three in each age group; overall men’s and women’s winners receive awards. All events are photographed and photos are expected to be uploaded after the events. Dogs are not allowed on the course; strollers are allowed.
