Logistics and rules
There are six aid stations and three restroom locations on course. Runners must cross two mandatory bridges; participants are not allowed to swim the gaps. The bridge crossings are signed and enforced, and the only places where leaving the sand is permitted. Leaving the sand elsewhere may result in disqualification.
