Forrest Spence 5K : Memphis, TN
The Forrest Spence 5K is scheduled for August 29, 2026 at the Mullins Station Event Field in Shelby Farms Park, Memphis, TN. This is the 19th annual edition of the event and the sixth year it is held at Shelby Farms. The event is presented by Campbell Clinic Orthopaedics and is sanctioned by USA Track & Field.
Race offerings include:
- 5K main race
- 100 yard dash for kids 8 and under
- 1 Mile Fun Run for kids 12 and under
The event program includes family-focused activities such as games, bounce houses, slides, food, and awards. A Ghost Runner / Virtual Runner option is available; virtual participants can opt to have a packet mailed and may submit a virtual time. All virtual entrants who post a time are entered into a drawing for one of eight door prizes.
The Forrest Spence Fund is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit that assists with non-medical needs of critically or chronically ill children and their families throughout the Mid-South.
