Formosa Spiked Apple 5k

The Formosa Spiked Apple 5k takes place on March 15, 2026 at Formosa Winery, 3011 Formosa Gardens Blvd, Kissimmee, FL 34747. The event is a chip-timed run/walk scored by J3 Timing, with results posted online at J3Timing.com. Registration is open to ages 1-98. Standard registration price shown is $35, with a youth price of $25 and a noted price increase after January 31, 2026.

1.5 mile (one lap) option

The course starts and finishes at the winery. Most of the route is on paths, with some grass sections that are cross-country style. The event uses a two-lap format; participants who complete only one lap are placed in the 1.5 mile division. Registration includes a t-shirt, a shatterproof collapsible glass, a finisher medal that doubles as a bottle opener, a chip-timed race bib, a homemade cider donut, and a cider pour. Free finisher photos will be uploaded after the race. Packet pickup is race day only and opens one hour before each participant’s start time.

Additional details: dogs on leash under 6 feet are allowed; strollers are allowed but not recommended; minors receive a discounted registration but not a wine glass or cider pour. A virtual participation option is offered, including a shipped packet for a handling fee. The event partners with Florida Boxer Rescue, a 501(c)(3) charity.
