The Ford City 5K and Kids 1/2 Mile
The event takes place on July 4, 2026 at Ford City Memorial Park, 800 Block of 4th Avenue, Ford City, PA 16226. It includes two race distances and is scheduled as part of Ford City’s Annual Heritage Festival.

The 5K is a certified loop course that begins and ends in front of the memorial park. The course is described as flat and is suitable for walkers as well as runners seeking a personal best. The kids race is a flat out-and-back course. Results will be posted on runhigh.com.
Street parking is available throughout town, with additional parking near 3rd Avenue and the trail. Race-day festivities include an awards ceremony, food and drink vendors, live music by the Jentz Band, and kids activities. The event supports Divine Redeemer School and aims to promote community, wellness, and family values.
Race shirts are included with registration if ordered by the June 1 shirt deadline. Shirt availability for registrants after June 1 is not guaranteed and will be distributed first-come first-served. Additional merchandise could be ordered through the event registration process and was available prior to June 1.
Awards for the 5K include top three overall men and women and top three in specified age groups. Kids awards are given to top three boys and girls in specified age groups. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
