The Ford City 5K and Kids 1/2 Mile
The event takes place on July 4, 2026 at Ford City Memorial Park, 800 Block of 4th Avenue, Ford City, PA 16226. It includes a main road race and a short race for children.

The 5K is a certified loop course that begins and ends in front of Ford City Memorial Park. The course is flat. The kids 1/2 mile is a flat out-and-back course.
Street parking is available throughout town, with additional parking concentrated on 3rd Avenue near the trail. The event organizer posts extra parking information on the event Facebook page. Race results will be posted on runhigh.com.
Each race registrant receives a race t-shirt included with registration if registered by June 1. Shirt availability after June 1 is not guaranteed. Additional race shirts and other merchandise may be purchased through the registration process and will be available for pickup on race day.
Awards for the 5K include top three overall men and women and top three men and women in these age groups: 1-9, 10-14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+. Kids 1/2 mile awards include top three boys and girls in age groups 4 and under, 5-6, 7-8, and 9-10.
