Elderton Plumcreek Recreation Park 38th Annual 5K Run/Walk
The Elderton Plumcreek Recreation Park 38th Annual 5K Run/Walk takes place on May 15, 2026 in Elderton, Pennsylvania. The event includes a 5K run and a 5K walk only that use a certified USATF original course through the town.
The course is described as fast with slight rolling sections and includes split timing at 1 and 2 miles. Water stations are available on course and post race refreshments are provided. Timing is handled by Smiles Timing Services and results are posted on smileymiles.com.
Day of registration and check-in is held at Elderton Plumcreek Recreation Park on Calhoun Street. Entry fee information lists $15 until May 14 and $20 for day of registration; the earlier fee includes a T shirt while supplies last and a T shirt is not guaranteed for day of registrants. Food trucks are scheduled to operate on site in the afternoon and evening.
An awards ceremony follows at Elderton Plumcreek Recreation Park. Trophies are planned for the top three male and top three female overall winners, top three male and female in each age group for the run, top three male and female walkers, the oldest and youngest finishers, and the first Elderton Volunteer Fire Department finisher.
