About the race
Footsteps for Fred Timed 1.5 Mile and 5K is a fundraising timed run and walk held in Lake Hopatcong, New Jersey at 35 Yacht Club Dr. The event benefits Rebecca's Homestead and commemorates a longtime friend and volunteer.

The course is a two loop route through the Lake Forest community, using quiet residential streets and passing lakefront homes. Descriptions from the organizer note peaceful lake views, birdsong, and occasional local wildlife along the way.
The events are timed run and walk formats. The first 25 participants will receive a shirt and all participants receive a finisher medal.
