Foothills 150
The Foothills event on May 21, 2027 in Pickens, SC offers two supported trail ultramarathons organized by Warrior Adventure Racing. The races run on the Foothills Trail with a start and finish at Table Rock State Park.
The 150-mile course follows the full length of the Foothills Trail out to Oconee State Park and back. The 75-mile course begins at Oconee State Park and follows the trail back to Table Rock; 75-mile runners are transported to the start by bus. The event provides eight stocked aid stations and GPS tracking for participants. All runners must carry required mandatory safety gear, a cell phone, a GPS tracker, and their bib number, and must check in at designated aid stations. Pacers are permitted only in the 150-mile race beginning at the Oconee turnaround.
Cut-off times are 55 hours for the 150-mile race and 30 hours for the 75-mile race. Elevation change exceeds 28,000 feet for the 150-mile distance and 14,000 feet for the 75-mile distance. Camping is available at the Table Rock State Park campground; vehicle and RV camping are not allowed in the Table Rock parking lot. A portion of entry proceeds supports the Foothills Trail Conservancy. The event policy states no refunds, but entries may be transferred to another racer in the same event until seven days before the race.
