Foot Traffic Flat takes place on July 4, 2026 at the Pumpkin Patch on Sauvie Island, Oregon. Multiple race distances are offered on courses that run through farmland and wildlife areas around the island.

The full and half courses are certified and accepted for Boston qualifying. Organizers describe the courses as flat with a few gentle rises on the island sections. The marathon course includes 14 water stations, the half has 7 water stations, and the quarter has 3 water stations. Each station for the longer distances is equipped with restrooms, hand washing stations, water, electrolyte drink, and energy gels. Chip timing and official results are provided.
Finish area amenities include snacks, misting tents, medals, tech shirts, custom race bibs, and ice cream from a local partner including vegan options. A virtual option is available with virtual results and mailed swag for participants who complete the distance between July 4 and July 11. The marathon carries a 5.5 hour time limit to meet island requirements. Shuttle service runs from NW Portland to Sauvie Island with a limited number of paid tickets. Group registrations of eight or more receive a 10 percent discount. There are no refunds or deferrals, though transfers are permitted. Bib pick up is scheduled on multiple days before the event.
