Fool's Run 10K & 5K - Blairsville
The Fool's Run 10K and 5K take place on April 4, 2026 on the Ghost Town Trail at Saylor Park in Black Lick, Blairsville, Pennsylvania. The 10K began in 1979 and is presented as the 47th anniversary of that race; the 5K was added in 2015.
Both distances are run on the trail as out and back courses with the finish near the pavilion at Saylor Park. There are no road crossings on either course. Timing and results are provided using chip timing with live result uploads during the race. Professional timing service is listed for the event. Water is provided on course and at the finish.
Awards include finishers' medals and overall and age group prizes. Finishers' medals are provided through the courtesy of an IRRC member. Awards presented at the pavilion include the top three male and female finishers, top male and female masters, and top three male and female age group winners in five year groups up to 70 plus. Runners and walkers are eligible for the same awards; there are no separate walker awards.
Race shirts are guaranteed for those preregistered by March 23, 2026 and are available afterward as supplies last. Family registration is available for three or more participants from the same household. For safety and insurance reasons no baby strollers or dogs are allowed.
