Event Overview

The Fontana Triathlon is a multisport event held in Fontana, Wisconsin, on Geneva Lake. It is based at Fontana Beach.

The race features swim, bike, and run legs. The swim takes place in Geneva Lake. The bike course goes through the rolling hills surrounding Fontana. The run course goes through the streets and parks of Fontana and Williams Bay.

Distances & Events

Four events are offered:

  • Olympic Individual: A 1500 m swim, 25 mile bike, and 10 km run.
  • Sprint Individual: A 750 m swim, 12 mile bike, and 5 km run.
  • Olympic Relay
  • Sprint Relay

Additional Information

Registration includes a race bib, ankle tag timing chip, bike plate, and helmet sticker. The first 600 registered participants receive a T-shirt or long-sleeved shirt.

After the race, there is a party with food and live music organized by the Lions Club of Fontana. Professional race timing and photos are provided.
