Event Overview
Foam Glow 5K is an event where participants run or walk a 5K (3.1-mile) course. The course features several Foam Glow Zones with foam in orange, pink, or blue that glows under black lights. The foam is described as 100% natural and non-toxic. A white shirt is recommended for participants to better show the glowing colors.
Event Details
The event takes place at the Washington State Fairgrounds on 7th St. SW Green Lot in Puyallup, Washington. Participants are released in waves every 2-5 minutes at the start line.
There is a water station on the course and at the finish line. Parking is available on-site for a fee of up to $20, payable in cash only. There is no bag check service.
Registration & Logistics
Every registered participant receives an event T-shirt. Packet pickup details are emailed before the event. There is a $5 fee for picking up a race packet on the day of the event. Participants must have a race bib attached to their shirt to be allowed on the course.
Schedule & Activities
A pre-race party with music starts 45 minutes before the event. An after-race party features music and periodic releases of glowing foam from cannons around the stage. Spectators are allowed in a designated viewing area at no charge. The organizer states that refunds are not offered. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
