Foam Glow 5K - Puyallup, WA
Foam Glow 5K™ is a 3-mile event held at the Washington State Fairgrounds, 7th St. SW Green Lot in Puyallup, WA. The course features multiple Foam Glow™ Zones where runners and walkers pass through colored foam that glows under high-intensity black lights. Participants are asked to wear a white shirt at the start; by the finish they typically show multiple glow colors from the foam.
Foam Glow™ Zones are associated with designated colors: orange, pink, and blue. The event states all foam products are 100% natural and non-toxic. An after party at the finish includes music from a stage, periodic foam cannon blasts into the crowd, and additional black lights.
Every registered participant receives a Foam Glow 5K™ event T-shirt and access to glow zones. There is a water station on the course and at the finish line. Packet pickup is required for race materials; a photo ID is requested and a same-day packet pickup fee applies. Pre-ordered merchandise must be claimed at packet pickup or on race day or it will be forfeited.
Additional logistics: parking may have a cash fee, there is no bag check, race bibs must be worn to access the course, and runners are released in waves every 2 to 5 minutes.
