The Flying Squirrel Ten Miler is scheduled for June 6, 2026, in Asheville, NC. The race distance is 10 miles. It is presented by Jus' Running. Registration opens on January 1, 2026 at 10:00 AM Eastern. The first 75 registrants pay a discounted fee of $50; after that the fee is $60. Course and charity
The course starts just blocks from downtown Asheville and follows roads on Town Mountain, including Sunset Drive and Patton Mountain Road, with the Southern Appalachians as a backdrop. A past participant described the route as roughly five miles uphill followed by five miles back down. The race supports the Southern Appalachian Highlands Conservancy, a nonprofit focused on preserving mountain landscapes, wildlife habitat and clean water in the region.
