Flying Pig 5K & 1M Fun Run, Mineral Wells
The Flying Pig 5K & 1M Fun Run takes place on May 9, 2026, in Historic Downtown Mineral Wells with start and finish activity centered at the Crazy Water Hotel. The event offers the following distances:

- 1 Mile
The run is organized as the kickoff to the inaugural Flying Pig Festival. Participants will arrive at the finish area to receive a post-run bacon treat and join festival activities downtown, which include family-focused programming and children's events. Flying pig race attire is encouraged.
Logistics and race services include guaranteed race t-shirts for the first 200 runners with limited sizes, chip timing provided by Pro-fit Race Timing, and commemorative Flying Pig race medals for all finishers. Results recognize male and female finishers by age groups: 12 and under, 13-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, and 60 and over.
Entry fees are listed as follows: 5K $35, 1 Mile $20, and kids 5 and under free. Day-of registration fees are listed higher for both distances. Early packet pick-up is offered at The Outfitters of Palo Pinto County and morning packet pick-up is available at the Crazy Water Hotel. Pets are not allowed at the event.
