The event includes several distances:
- Flyin' Lion 5K Run/Walk
- Cub Fun Run for children aged 10 and under
- Virtual Sleeping Lion Run Walk 5K option
Location and Course
The event takes place on and around the campus of Lakeway Christian Academy in White Pine, Tennessee. The race starts and ends on the academy's campus. The address is 3720 Roy Messer Highway.
Registration and Perks
Registration includes a T-shirt for all 5K and Virtual participants, to be picked up on race morning. To guarantee a shirt for the 2026 event, registration must be completed before March 15, 2026. Children in the Cub Fun Run do not receive a shirt but get a participation token and a finisher's medal. All registrants are entered into a drawing to win an LCA All-Sports pass for the 2026-27 school year.
Virtual participants can complete their distance on their own schedule, and shirt pickup is available from the Lakeway Christian School front office from March 25th through the end of April. They can submit their performance via a self-submission portal.
Awards
Awards are given to the top male and top female overall finishers. Age group awards are presented to the top individuals in each gender for the following categories: 19 & under, 20-39, 40-59, and 60+.
Additional Information
Restrooms are available in the athletic complex/school. Proceeds from the event support the athletic departments at Lakeway Christian Academy and Cornerstone Christian Academy. Group discounts are available for groups of 10 or more. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
