Fly High Max/ Stop the Hazing 5K
The event is a community 5K held at Blessed Trinity High School, 11320 Woodstock Road, Roswell, GA 30075. It offers both in-person and virtual participation and a no swag registration option.
Race options and fees include an in-person 5K and a virtual 5K each listed at $32.00, a 5K no swag option at $30.00, and a 5K virtual no swag option at $28.00. In-person registration on race day is available at a higher fee of $35.00.
Online registration for the in-person 5K closes at 11:00 AM on March 5 to allow preparation of timing chips. Virtual registration remains open until race morning for virtual participants; virtual entries do not receive timing chips. Early packet pickup and race morning in-person registration are available. Accepted on-site payment methods include Venmo, Zelle, check, and cash with exact change requested. Expect longer lines for on-site registration.
The Max Gruver Foundation, based in Roswell and formed in 2017 after the death of a Roswell teen during a fraternity hazing ritual, is a 501(c)(3) organization focused on educating young people and parents about the dangers and signs of hazing and on working with schools, Greek leadership, and legislators on anti-hazing efforts.
