Flutie 5K for Autism: Rome, ME
The Flutie 5K for Autism is scheduled for October 24, 2026, at Pine Tree Camp, 114 Pine Tree Camp Rd., Rome, ME 04963. The event includes in-person and virtual options and lists race divisions that accommodate runners, walkers, and athletes using wheelchairs or handcycles.

Event formats include a 5K Run, a 5K Roll for wheelchairs, handcycles, and duo teams, a 5K Walk, a dedicated Chirichella Adaptive Division for athletes with autism and intellectual and developmental disabilities, and a virtual "Flutie 5K Your Way" option. Awards are planned for the top three male and top three female finishers in the 5K Run. The Kids' Fun Run is a short course held before the main event.
Registration opens May 28, 2026. Most in-person events have registration closing June 24, 2026; the Chirichella Adaptive Division has a later close date of June 25, 2026. The virtual option accepts registrations through October 24, 2026. Listed fees include $28 for most in-person 5K options, $8 for the Kids' Fun Run, and $35 for the virtual option. The virtual option includes mailed shirts and bibs for participants who select that choice.
