Flushing Evening Road Race
The Flushing Evening Road Race is a mid-week sports event located in Flushing, Michigan. The event features two primary categories:
- 5K Run/Walk
- 5K Competitive Walk
The course begins at Flushing High School, located at 5039 Deland Rd. Participants travel through the area to reach the finish line situated downtown on Main St. This route coincides with local parade celebrations, where spectators gather along the finish area.
The race utilizes RFID chip timing provided by Mid Michigan Timing to ensure accurate results for all participants. Registration is available for general participants, with a specific reduced rate for students aged 18 and under. Early registration typically concludes one week before the event date, though race day registration is also available at the high school.
Packet pickup is scheduled for the day before the race and the morning of the event at Bauman's Running & Walking Shop in Flint. Additionally, participants can collect their packets at Flushing High School shortly before the start.
