Rochester Regional Health Flower City Challenge
The Flower City Challenge is a multi-day running event hosted in downtown Rochester at Parcel 5, 285 E Main Street, Rochester, NY 14604. It offers in-person, virtual, and wheelchair divisions and includes timed results and finisher awards.

In-person race services for on-site participants include chip timing, online results, post-race food, and a race-logo finisher medal. Half marathon registrants are offered a choice of cozy crewneck, hoody, or short sleeve tech shirt while supplies last; 5K registrants receive a short sleeve technical top. Kids races have a cotton T-shirt available for an additional fee. Virtual entries receive online results, mailed shirt and medal if packets are not picked up, and a printable finisher certificate; virtual participants may submit results between April 25, 2027 and May 2, 2027.
The half marathon course is USATF certified and routes through downtown and city neighborhoods. The event is part of the Four Season Challenge, where completing the half or 5K can earn an additional medal. Packet pickup and an expo are scheduled the weekend before the in-person event at Fleet Feet and there is additional packet pickup at Parcel 5 on race day.
