Florida Breast Cancer Foundation Race 2 Cure 5K and Tribute Walk
The Florida Breast Cancer Foundation Race 2 Cure is scheduled for October 17, 2026 at Oviedo Mall, 1280 Oviedo Mall Blvd., Oviedo, FL 32765. The event is organized by the Orlando Sports Foundation, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that raises funds for cancer research.
The event format includes several options and distances:
- 3.1 miles - In-person 5K Run/Walk or Virtual 5K.
- 1 mile - Tribute Walk presented by the Florida Breast Cancer Foundation.
- 1 mile - Kids Fun Run presented by Nemours Children's Hospital, free for ages 12 and under.
Registration pricing includes an early bird tier and subsequent tiers for the in-person 5K, a separate fee for the virtual 5K, the Tribute Walk, and free entry for eligible kids. The in-person 5K registration includes a dri-fit runner shirt, chip-timed bib, and finisher medal. Tribute Walk registration includes a dri-fit shirt and an "I Walk For" bib. Virtual participants receive a runner shirt, finisher medal, and bib; virtual race packets are mailed after the in-person race and are expected to arrive by the end of November.
