Florence Freedom 5K
The Florence Freedom 5K is scheduled for July 4, 2026 in downtown Florence, South Carolina. The event uses the Run Like a Nut course, described as a flat route that starts and ends at 120 E. Elm Street, Florence, SC 29506. It is part of a double points Pee Dee Grand Prix.
The event program includes a 5K race and a 1 mile fun run or walk. All 5K finishers receive a custom finisher medal. The event provides cooled towels and post race concessions. Part of the proceeds will benefit the Disabled American Veterans and One Child At A Time.

Awards for the 5K include top three overall male and female, top three masters male and female, and top three male and female in each age group. Age groups start at 10 and under and continue up through 70 plus. Strollers and pets are allowed and there are no age or parking restrictions noted.
