Floors Castle, Kelso 10k
The Floors Castle, Kelso 10 km is scheduled for 12 July 2026 and is held entirely within the grounds of Floors Castle in Kelso. The course runs across a mixture of road and trail surfaces.
Some sections of the course are uneven and there may be loose stones or broken patches in places. After heavy rain the ground may be soft and slippy in places. The course is not suitable for runners pushing buggies or pushchairs and is not suitable for runners with dogs. The wearing of headphones is not permitted.
Race numbers are issued at registration, which takes place at Floors Castle, Roxburgh Street, Kelso TD5 7RL, at the Terrace Cafe to the right of the main castle. Changing and toilet facilities are available. Bags may be left in tents on the day at the owner s risk.
A water station is located just before the 5 km marker and water is available at the finish. Refreshments are available after the race in Floors Castle courtyard on production of the race number. Non runners may purchase refreshments.
Medals and a goodie bag are provided to all finishers. There is a time limit of 1 hour 45 minutes after which the course will start to be dismantled. The event is held in conjunction with Kelso Civic week, which runs from 11th to 19th July. The event has a total entry cap of 250 places.
