Fleetwood Spring 10k
The Fleetwood Spring event is a road race over 10 km along Fleetwood’s seafront promenade. The course is largely flat with virtually no climbing and offers continuous coastal views and wide running space for most of the route.
Event HQ is on the grassed area next to the Model Boating Lake on the Esplanade, with the start and finish close by. Race registration, number collection and event-day enquiries are handled from Event HQ; numbers are arranged in surname order. Portable toilets, a baggage storage area, and a key drop facility are provided at Event HQ. Accessible parking spaces are available in nearby car parks and the promenade provides good access for spectators and participants with limited mobility, though the Event HQ sits on grass.
The race is chip timed and the timing chip is attached to the race number; results are published online after the event. A staffed water station is provided around halfway and water is also supplied at the finish. Professional medical support is available throughout the event. Official race photos are taken and are normally available within 24 to 48 hours after the race.
Every finisher receives a finisher’s medal. Individual awards and prize vouchers are given for top finishers in overall and veteran categories across male and female divisions. The entry fee is £26.50. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
