Fleet Feet Firecracker 4 Mile
The Fleet Feet Firecracker 4 Mile is an annual running event held in Fairport, New York. Established in 1976, this event has become a July 4th tradition in the local community. The course begins at the intersection of Whitney Road and O'Connor Road and concludes at Perinton Park. The route is USATF certified (NY14121KL) for accuracy.
This race is a featured part of a larger nine-race grand prix series. Participants in the series are eligible for cash prizes and footwear awards based on their performance across the different events. For this specific event, cash prizes are awarded to the top three overall male and female finishers. Additionally, recognition is provided for the top three male and female finishers in numerous age categories, ranging from 14 and under to 80 and over.
Registered participants receive several amenities, including:
- A race bib with RFID electronic timing
- Premium blend cotton t-shirts (for those registered by the mid-June deadline)

Packet pickup is available on the day prior to the race at a designated retail location in Rochester to help manage race-day traffic. While limited pickup is available at the finish area on the morning of the event, organizers note that the start line is located approximately a half-mile away from the park's registration area.
