Fleet Feet Firecracker 4 Mile

This event is a 4 mile road race held on July 4th in Fairport, New York. It has been an Independence Day tradition since 1976. The course starts at the corner of Whitney Road and O'Connor Road and finishes in Perinton Park.

The race uses RFID electronic timing. Registration includes a race bib, a premium blend cotton t-shirt for participants registered by June 14, post-race food and drink, and a digital finisher's certificate. Awards are presented for the top three overall male and female finishers, with cash prizes, and for the top three in multiple age categories. This event is part of a nine-race series, where eligible participants can compete for series-wide prizes.

Packet pickup is available the day before the race at Fleet Feet @ The Armory in Rochester. Race day packet pickup is available at Perinton Park but is not recommended by the organizers, as it requires a walk of about half a mile to the starting line.
