Flatlanders Road Race
The Flatlanders Road Race takes place at the Canada Games Athletic Complex (Douglas Park Track) in Regina, SK on October 3, 2026. All races start and finish on the track at Douglas Park.
Distances offered:
- 50 km on the track
- 21.1 km half marathon
- 10 km
- 5 km
- 1-mile children’s race (ages 4 to 11)
The 50 km event is held entirely on the track and requires 125 laps; one aid station is available on the track and a designated exit and entrance are provided for bathroom breaks and access to personal gear. The 5 km and 10 km routes use local community roads, portions of the University of Regina, and share two aid stations. The half marathon extends further into the university, along Wascana multi-use paths, and around the legislative building, with four aid station visits.
Walkers are allowed in the 5 km and 10 km events. Dogs and strollers are not permitted. Race packet pickup is available at the Canada Games Athletic Complex on the day before the race and on race morning; bibs may be picked up for other participants. Registrations close at 11:59 pm on September 27, 2026 and registration is nonrefundable. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
