Event overview

Walkers are permitted in the 10 km and 5 km categories; a half-marathon walk option requires an access code. All races start and finish on the track at the Canada Games Athletic Complex (Douglas Park Track). The course is run almost entirely on the pathways in Wascana Park, with kilometer markers, arrows, and course marshals. There are five aid stations on course and post-race refreshments. The children's race is for ages 4 to 11 and uses the same start/finish line; it follows a route that stays within the park and does not cross roads. Dogs and strollers are not permitted. Earbuds and personal music are allowed, but runners should remain aware of marshal directions and other participants. The course officially closes at 12:30 pm.
