Flatlanders Road Race - Regina, SK
Flatlanders Road Race takes place on Saturday, October 3, 2026, at the Canada Games Athletic Complex (Douglas Park Track) in Regina, SK. The event offers multiple distances and features new course layouts for this edition.
Distances offered:
- 21.1 km half marathon
- 10 km
- 5 km
- 50 km on the track (125 laps)
- 1 mile children's race for ages 4 to 11
All races start and finish on the track. The 50 km is run entirely on the track with a single aid station and a designated exit and entrance for bathroom access and a small area for additional nutrition or gear. The children's race uses the same start/finish line, runs partway around the track, exits through the east gate, completes a loop inside the park with no road crossings, and returns to the track to finish.
Course details: the 5 km uses local roads and a section of the University of Regina and passes an aid station twice; the 10 km extends that routing through the university and community using the same two aid stations; the half marathon extends further into the university, along a portion of the Wascana multi-use path and the roads around the legislative building, passing an aid station four times.
Walkers are welcome in the 5 km and 10 km. Registration closes September 27, 2026, and fees are non refundable. Race kit pickup is available the day before and on race morning. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
