Flathead Lake Run
The Flathead Lake Run takes place on Sunday, July 26, 2026, at Volunteer Park in Lakeside, Montana. The event is professionally timed and follows the shoreline of Flathead Lake.
Participants can choose from the following events:
- 5K, lakeshore course.
- 10K, lakeshore course.
- 1 mile kids run, for ages 10 and under.
The 5K and 10K are open to all ages and strollers are welcome. The kids mile is reserved for participants ages 10 and under. Winners are announced after the races and cash prizes and overall winner medals are awarded.
A portion of race proceeds supports two local nonprofits, the Flathead Lake Biological Station and the Flathead Lakers, for work in research, education, stewardship, and advocacy for Flathead Lake.
All registered participants receive an official Flathead Lake Run t shirt. To guarantee a preferred shirt size, register by July 6, 2026.
Volunteer Park offers views of the lake and areas to remain by the water after the event. Dogs are prohibited in the park unless a certified service animal, and trash bins are available around the park. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
