Flat Caps 10K 2026 - Sowerby Bridge, Halifax
The Flat Caps 10K is an annual road race held on Sunday 12 April 2026 around the Calderdale countryside. The event is in its 6th year and covers 10 km on a measured, chip timed course that is described as undulating and hilly. The race is fully marshalled and consists of a single lap.
Entry is limited to 275 runners, with 11 places remaining at the time of listing. Entry fees differ for affiliated and unaffiliated runners, priced at £15.00 and £17.00 respectively. All profits are directed to Overgate Hospice; the event reported raising over £2,700 for the hospice in 2025. A cash prize of £50 is offered for performances that improve the course records.
