Event overview
The Flapjack 5K takes place on Saturday, June 20, 2026, in Jasper, Georgia. The event is the 28th annual Flapjack 5K and offers a 5K run/walk. Registration has a listed entry fee of $30 and opens on January 1, 2026. The race is presented by the Optimist Club of Jasper.
Course and logistics
The course is a fairly flat out-and-back on paved streets. The route starts about 0.25 mile north of the registration area, proceeds out Main Street to Little Road, then returns to a finish near 61 South Main Street, Jasper, GA 30143. Early packet pickup and in-person registration are available the day before the race at the State Farm office on W. Church Street. There is free downtown parking.
Timing will be provided by BT Race Timing, but the event is not chip timed. Finishers receive a paper finish card and must write name, age, bib number and gender on the card and turn it in at the results boards for posting. Complete results will be posted online after the race.
Extras, awards and policies
All registrants receive a free flapjack breakfast; additional breakfast tickets are available for $5. Shirts are guaranteed for registrations completed by June 12, 2026. Awards include frying pans for overall male and female finishers and spatulas for age-group places (three deep in 10-year groups up to 80+). The race will proceed in rain; the director or local authorities may delay or cancel in severe weather. No refunds are offered. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
