Five Star 5K, Mile of Smiles and Wellness Festival
The event takes place at Riverdale Regional Park in Brighton, Colorado and combines a community 5K with a one mile inclusive route and a Wellness Festival held on the park grounds by the start and finish area.

Registration details vary by category. The Mile of Smiles has a base fee of $5 for most participants and free registration for students who attend an Adams 12 Title I school. The 5K includes free registration for Title I students and certain Future Forward campus students, reduced youth and employee rates, a standard adult fee, a family discount for four or more immediate family members, veteran and active duty pricing, and a soft cotton t-shirt included with registration where available.
Packet and shirt pickup are available before the event at the Adams 12 Educational Support Center in Thornton and materials can also be collected on the day of the event. T-shirt inventory and sizes are not guaranteed after April 17 and later registrants receive shirts on a first come first served basis at packet pickup.
The Wellness Festival features vendors and community organizations offering family friendly activities, food samples, giveaways and information. Food trucks, finish line refreshments, and multiple water stations are planned. Strollers are welcome and dogs are discouraged.
